Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 511's web site. Boy Scout Troop 511 in Austin TX is sponsored by St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, and was founded in 1972. Over the years, we have had more than 170 young men become Eagle Scouts. We have a lovely outdoor program, including about 10 outdoor outings a year, summer camp and a high adventure trip for older Scouts.
If you're interested in our troop, we encourage you to come visit us at one of our meetings! We meet every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in Huffman Hall on the St. Matthew's Episcopal Church campus. We love to have guests any time. Some meetings are more interesting for visitors to come to, so feel free to contact us if you're wondering which meeting would be best for you to come and check out Troop 511.

Parents, the Annual Activity Planning Meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, May 16, 7 PM at Waterloo Ice House on Burnet! This is the annual meeting of parents to work on who will do what committee jobs this coming year, and who can own various outings. 
Everyone, please be sure to come to the Troop 511 Court of Honor on Tuesday, May 7, at 7 PM! Feel free to bring family and friends! We will honor Scouts who have advanced in rank or earned merit badges, hear about upcoming troop plans, and socialize afterwards. Parents, please bring a snack or drink if you can! It's not required, but always much appreciated! 
Come enjoy all kinds of fun outdoors and un th water! We are looking forward to a laid-back outing in May, a chance to get outdoors while it's still cool! Come enjoy outdoor fun on the water at Inks Lake!
